We headed to Lake Taupo after the Waitomo Caves. We stayed there overnight, my first hostel. Wasn't too bad, one of the cleaner ones I've been to. Anyways, as you can see there was a lovely sunset. Lake Taupo is a a lovely little resort town. A lot of the houses (around Auckland also) remind me of the American Style houses we saw in Rehoboth Beach (Yvonne & Ellen). Those kinda wooden style ones. I also find that a lot of the towns and buildings on the outskirts of cities here are laid out in the US style. Some places have really reminded me so much of Rehoboth Beach.

So we didn't do too much that night, tired after our long journey but we got up the next day and had a lie in the sun by the lake and had a little swim before we had to head back to Auckland. Lake Taupo is where they do a lot of Sky diving, I didn't know at the time I was there. They of course are into all that over here. I may try one, I haven't decided yet.
