Wow! I love this.
Cabin to myself.
( I paid extra to have a room to myself for the whole trip....best thing ever.)
So 2 single beds...case on one, me on the other.
We arrived at the boat about 4pm....showed passports, dragged cases onto the boat...we are leaving our bus and grabbing another bus in Greece.
Huge boat, by the way.

I am going to be in Greece tomorrow!

Only time we have to handle our cases ourselves....just as well really...it's pretty weighty.
I bought way too many clothes.

Drinks at the bar tonight. So much fun....

Ok, here's the thing.
This tour is a 30 day tour of Europe....with an optional 3 day cruise around the Greek Isles.
Now I decided that the cruise was too expensive for me so I opted to stay in Athens for the 3 days that the cruise is on and do the sight seeing options around Athens.
Well...... Calvin came to me in Paris and said that I was the only one not doing the 3 day cruise...and did I want to change my mind.
I didn't.
Basically because I really do prefer the options offered for Athens...one of which is a full day cruise of some Greek Islands...
(That'll do me.)
And another is a visit to Poseidon's Temple at Sounion...on the edge of the cliff.
The third is a visit to Delphi.
So for the whole bus tour so far, I have been giving the bus heaps because they are going on the cruise....and they have been giving me heaps because I am staying in Athens.
(You know, Athens...The Novotel...The rooftop pool with the view of the Acropolis?)

Hard life but someone has to do it.

AND, I told them that I had been grooming 48 people to cheer as I swam in the rooftop pool....and now I had to find 48 OTHER people to do it....could be tricky, but, at a stretch, I think I can do it.

Anyway, this morning, Calvin gets on the bus microphone and proceeds to give a blow by blow description on everything that they can expect on this Greek Island cruise....
(This was way too good an opportunity to pass up...)

In tune and everything..

So, just so you know, I will be joining another tour staying at the Novotel for that time and going with them on the excursions, breakfasts, dinners etc.....when I am not swimming!
And then rejoin my group when they come back to the Novotel.

Very relaxing in my room on the boat...called Catania....Grimaldi Lines....look it up.
Basically, because breakfast is from 8.30am til 10am....and we don't get off the boat till after lunch...so lots of time to pack etc and a bit of a sleep in.
And I just remembered a packet of peanut M&Ms in my bag.
Life doesn't get much better than this.
