Arrived 5.30pm.
Very nice hotel and room.
LOVE THE VIEW OUT MY WINDOW!
A few of us decided to meet in the lobby and walk down to the beach.
Absolutely beautiful. Magnificent evening. Sun shining and hot!
Saw the famous pebbled beaches of Nice...going for a swim there tomorrow morning.
Went to a wonderful market, had dinner at an outside restaurant.
Walked with Adrene, Rob and Ian and met up with Dale and Helen.
Bought a lovely bracelet at the market...
So many places to choose from to eat....Finally settled on one and had a magnificent meal.
There were so many restaurants in this square, the waiters were out amongst the pedestrians, trying to sell their wares..
Then off for a walk along the streets.
Saw a lady singing opera outside the Nice Opera House....Magnificent voice...we were mesmerised .
Then came across the outdoor venue that had the huge circular screens.
Apparently what was showing on the screens was part of a dress rehearsal for the Games starting today in Nice.
Calvin described the games as a French type of Commonwealth Games.
Many, many officials getting ready for this.
Wonderful walk home.
Up at 7am for a swim at Nice....free morning. Then excursion tomorrow afternoon high in the hills to a perfumery and dinner.
Love to everyone.
