Had a further look around Lucerne this morning and started with the Musegg wall which was started in 1386. It consists of seven clock towers with a wall connecting them all which you can walk along. Its fairly high up and a local school must have been having music lessons as Rod Stewarts Sailing echoed from down below on the lawn. The first built clock chimes 1 minute before all others a privilege it has been accorded. Had a big Mac which certainly had a better taste than our version but that will probably be the last for another five years. Caught the train to Basel an interesting town as from the airport you can see Switzerland France and Germany. Bit of a wait at the airport as plane flies out at 7.20. Not sure of the distance from Lucerne to Basel but train had one stop and got here under an hour certainly seemed to motoring. Take one escalator down and bus waiting to take us to airport. Wish they could transpose the public transport system with Australia. Did take one photo of a watch for sale in Lucerne 46500 Swiss franc. Must keep good time and probably don't have to change the battery which would be handy! Think you got twelve months warranty. Seemed a steal.
Strange as it may seem have only seen two drongo's around our travels, the first one had a Collingwood beanie on and the other a Richmond one!
