We took our land vehicle (along with thousands of other travellers) across a very impressive structure today called "The Golden Gate Bridge". Looked a bit more like red than golden to me, but there's no accounting for human's colour perceptions!
After checking on the progress of the Space Ranger recruitment poster campaign we visited an old penal facility called "Alcatraz" which gave me some good ideas for the new Space Command Correctional Facility for Emperor Zurg's minions.
Later, after an obscene amount of ice cream at the "Bubba Gump Shrimp Restaurant", which even Cadet Mark couldn't finish, young Cadet Ashley (who, quite frankly, shows far more promise!) went for an evening jog to prepare for an upcoming triathlon event back in the UK.
Altogether a very relaxed and enjoyable day. Next stop, Los Angeles and then onward to San Diego for an inspection of the Rare Animal Conservation Centre (aka, zoo!)
