Today was a bit of a strange day, we went to catch our bus to Waitomo but our driver stopped us and told us that Waitomo had been flooded with all the rain and was shut and would be for the next few days. So now we had the choice to stay in Rotorua for a few more days or go straight to Taupo. Well seen as we were already packed we decided to go straight to Taupo. It didn't take long to get there so our driver took us to a few places along the way, we got to see Tukka Falls and we went to a place called Craters of the moon, it was another geothermal site, fascinating stuff!
