Today we did a full days hike on Franz Josef Glacier, it was excellent we were on the ice for about 5-6 hours. Got some good photos hopefully should be able to put them on here soon. Absolutely shattered now our feet are really hurting, they make you wear their shoes so the crampons fit on and they weren't very comfortable. We are staying in a really nice Motel, we couldn't get booked into a hostel so we have splashed out and it feels like 5 star compared to what we've been used to!
