DAY 19: WEST COAST BOUND
Designated travel day today, so not much to report.
By the time we got up, packed and had some breakfast, it was time to say goodbye to our hotel on Bourbon St and head to the airport.
Our flight left New Orleans just after lunchtime and we made the three and a half hour journey to Los Angeles by late afternoon.
As always, traffic was bumper to bumper getting out of LAX, so it seemed just as long to reach our hotel here in Anaheim this evening.
As has been the case all holiday, very impressed with the accommodation we've scored for the last leg of the trip. The place has its own waterpark, which I'm sure Josh will make good use of tonight and the rest of our stay here - it's not suppose to drop below 34 degrees these next few days, so I reckon it's a good bet his mum and dad will be taking a dip as well!
Speaking of the young fella, it probably hasn't been the most exciting of birthdays today for him with all this travelling, but I'm sure we'll make amends these next three days.
Disneyland awaits - and you can tell someone is already a little excited about that!
