Love camping in the beach! Got to stay oceanside in a nice campground with really nice people.
Beach was a few steps away. Great waves and a breeze to keep us cool. Kids had fun being in the water, tried fishing but our poles weren’t very effective with the waves.
We explored the island a bit- mostly the tourists stops. Managed a round of mini golf, a stop at one of the fishing piers. We missed someone catching a shark!! And the aquarium/ rainforest/zipline/ water park complex called Moody Gardens. Fred worked all day, so we could play.
We didn’t see an armadillo or a Texas Longhorn however. A little sad about that.
