I was woken up at 7 am by some very annoyed South African woman that Sarah and I might have accidentally woken up at 4 in the morning, kinda understandable I suppose! She was banging stuff around so loud, really great for my hangover! We got ready and packed the majority of our stuff up as check out was bang on 11 and they lock you out of the room. We did some washing together and used the tumble dryer as needed to be gone by 2 pm. I ironed a few bits and pieces and packed the remainder of my bag. We sat and chilled on the sofas in the common room and then I quickly went to Woolworths to grab some last minute cosmetics that Charlotte had informed us was difficult to get in Asia. We left at about 2.30 pm and headed to the train station. It was the first proper time both of us had used our backpacks for any length of time...my god they are heavy! We got on a double decker train and went to the international airport. The airport was pretty impressive! I bought a new go pro stick in duty free as mine has broken so was pretty chuffed with that. The flight was really good, no turbulents and a really nice meal! 6 hours of travelling is like a walk in the park now. We arrived in Bali at 8.25 pm, it was so humid! I was stupidly wearing my hoodie as couldn't fit it into my bag so was sweating in seconds! We got our visa in the airport and headed to arrivals to meet Sarah who is travelling with us until the 8th December, exciting! We had a taxi pre booked to take us to the hostel and we couldn't find the little man for ages! We were pestered by different men who claimed they had a taxi free.Eventually we found our man...Phillip! Literally the sweetest Indonesian man, carried my bag for me as I was making a bit of a meal out of it to be honest, and then sang to us pretty much the whole way to the hostel! He had an amazing voice! Once we arrived, we were all pretty tired so headed to the room to get some sleep! Even though it was dark, the hostel looked so cute! The room was incredible for £5 a night! We're hoping for a chilled day by the pool tomorrow!
