We managed to organise 6 new tyres for the Caravan early on Tuesday morning, they had just arrived in earlier that morning, very lucky timing for us. Then off to have a couple of days of R & R at Lucky Bay in Cape Le Grand National Park. Thank you to Mr Anderson (the boy's Principal) and Al Wiltshire for the recommendations.
Tuesday afternoon the boys went fishing and it wasn't long before they were back with a couple of Salmon. One 1kg and the other a 2.5kg.
We made friends with a German couple, Thomas and Andrea. They are in Australia travelling for 12 months, they had many a story to tell of their other travelling adventures of motor cycling through Africa, Canada & America. Thomas was keen to learn how to fish, the boys took him fishing on Wednesday morning, unfortunately, the fish were not biting. In the afternoon we all went for a walk over to the next bay, Thistle Bay spotting some lizards on the rocks. We shared a fish feast with Thomas and Andrea last night.
This morning the boys were off for more fishing, Cam and Brad catching a couple of herring. There was a Seal that kept visiting and scaring off the fish. Lovely to watch him/her surfing the waves. The water is so clear and the sand is so white and fine. Lucky Bay has been voted the whitest beach in Australia, and we could see why.
There was a coffee van that came down on the beach, called the Lucky Bean Café, they serve the Kangachino, a coffee with some nuggets - Maltesers!
We said good bye to Thomas and Andrea, hopefully we will catch up again on our journeys, otherwise we will see them in Melbourne. Hopefully Thomas will be able to tell us of the fish he has caught with the fishing skills the boys imparted.
Tonight we are staying in a farm stay west of Esperance. We are out in a paddock with the cows!

Ken Judd Fantastic to catch up. Back at EMC this morning and first opportunity to grab the link to your website. We have had a great time, 8 days at Bright with the extended family and then 4 nights in Kosiousko NP with Andrew and a couple of nights in Canberra before home via the Monaro Hwy
Ken J Wow! What a trip? Thanks for link Brad. It is working much better on home computer and I can now see all your photos now. The tyre situation could have been much worse by the sound of it
