Can you believe we have been on the road for 6 months now and we will be home in just over 5 months!! Canada Life We have now settled down into our apartment building on the 9th floor in downtown Toronto and overlook a great little cafe district. Not that we have explored too much of Toronto's cafe/pub environment as we have been too busy looking for work and waiting for the money to roll in. Unfortunately I am still unemployed howevere I am busy doing casual catering work and I am also registered with 4 agencies so hopefully this will be my week. Bronwyn has got a job as a HR Assistant, whilst I spend my days on the job hunt and waitering. I honestly feel like I am in my early 20's again as the the temporary job market are only interested in us if we do remedial administrative roles but we always have the hospitality jobs to fall back on. Ironically even though Bron and I have been together for over 8 years now we have never worked together, well that was until last Thursday night when we worked as waiters at a wedding...a surreal experience. Our Well Being Well this is where we need some work. We started to get homesick over the past few weeks. I guess going back to an everyday lifestyle takes it toll because we are now constantly thinking of family, friends and familiar surrounds...just to call one of you and to go out for a beer would be great, well I guess we'll just have to wait a few more months. Travels Well we have now booked our last leg of the trip which sees us leave Canada in mid September bound for Finland so we can travel overland through Eastern Europe (Russia, Estonia, Poland, Czech Rep, Austria) before heading to the Loure Valley in France and catching up with friends in a old Castle to celebrate Matt and I turning 30!! We will then be travelling quite fast through France, London, and Thailand before heading home in early November. Well that's about it here hope all is well!
