Melanie Cumming Hi Aidan and Bron! Thinking about you lots lately! Looked at the pictures of NY and thought they were fab! Jarrod wants to stop off there for a fleeing visit when we head OS. Was 4 days enough or do you thnk that we need more time? We visited Sydney last week with Mum - for her 50th birthday. We stayed 4 days and Mum thought it was wonderful! We didn't do as much walking as when we all went there together (Mum's boyfriend has a bung knee!). But we did see lots of things and went to Doyles for lunch! Apart from this little jaunt we haven't been doing much - just working and trying to get through Winter. The daylight hours are getting longer (others wouldn't realise this but we are up each morning walking the pup at 6:15 am!) We're looking forward to your return and getting more excited about our trip now- watching Sth American nature video's and we will have some injections hopefully before Christmas! Shaun Hey Aiden and Bronwyn, I guess we are swapping messages on each other's sites. Good to get you little note and see where you are. I cannot believe that you are in Canada. My home turf! Although, I guess Toronto is something like 3000 km from Calgary, but still. The strangest thing is I will be in Australia soon. Switching homelands for a bit. Janis Hey Guys, Glad to hear you're enjoying it all and you're not too cold from your trekking down the south of Chile. Funny but I'm only just in Bolivia, La Paz to be exact. I'm considering actually biking the road of death as it doesn't sound like a road of death anymore with all the precautions in place, ok, I just want the t-shirt! Thinking of catching a few flights around Argentina so any suggestions of which major towns to hit other than Iguazu, BA and Mendoza would be appreciated. So where to next then Canada? Catch some skiing! I'll check in to see where in the world you are next but for now take care and have fun!

Susan and Javier Hello Bronwyn and Aidan- I'm sorry that we've been so out of touch since December, but we have been thinking of you. I'm glad to see that your volunteering in Ecuador went relatively well, it sounds like you had quite a variety of experiences. In the end you both made it to the Galapagos! I'm just sorry to hear that shlupping manure was part of the deal. We're both doing very well. My belly is growing at a rapid pace these days. We found out that we're having a boy. The exact due date is July 12th. Javier just finished his sabbatical and is happy to be back at the university full-time. I'm now looking forward to the arrival of summer and some weeks off before our sure-to-be-hectic lives as parents begin. I'm sorry that I never sent out that email with everyone's addresses but (just as Javier predicted) we managed to misplace the napkin on which we took down everyone's info during our travels. In any case, it was great meeting you guys. As you know, you are always welcome in Denver, CO, USA if your plans change. Muchos besos, Susan and Javier
