We didn't have to overly rush this morning as our ferry to Ko Lanta wasn't until 11.30am. We got packed up and got down there for 10.45am ish and got straight on. It wasn't a full ferry either so that was a bonus. The ride took just over an hour and we were on Ko Lanta. James had emailled the place we're staying to ask for a pick up from the pier and there the guy was, which was a relief because there were so many people "where are you going?" "Taxi?" "Where you stay?" Getting straight in the back of a swangthaew was great, it took about 20 minutes to get to the hotel, the island looked very chilled and not too built up which is good. We had booked a place near to where Dave and Kim our friends will be staying. They arrive on Thursday night so we'll get to spend a couple of days with them. Our place has bungalows with air con, TV, a double and a single bed and an enormous bathroom. Plus the place has an awesome pool and even better the whole place is right on the beach. It is one of the nicest places we've stayed. We dumped our stuff down and went for something to eat at the hotel restaurant. Then came back to get changed and got in the pool. We spent the rest of the afternoon there!
