James has been really poorly during the night, with a cold and on and off the toilet so no waterfalls for him today. He was happy to have a day in bed trying to sleep it off while I went with Sam and Steph to the waterfalls. I sent a message to them telling them James was poorly but I would still be coming and we met for breakfast at 11.00am. After our breakfast we walked to try and find a tuk tuk to take us, we bumped into the people we were talking to yesterday, they had just got a tuk tuk and were heading to the waterfalls, plus there was space enough for the three of us so we jumped in. The ride was about an hour long and we had paid for the tuk tuk there and back and the ticket included. The tuk tuk driver took us through the gate and we started to walk the path, the first thing you come to is a bear rescue centre with around 15 bears living there. We had missed feeding time but we did get some great photos. We then walked further into the waterfall area and were met with the sight of perfectly turquoise water. It looked amazing, we were all taken aback a little, we also thought it would just be a waterfall with one pool at the bottom of it. In fact it was one waterfall running down and making four or five different pools. We walked all the way up the side of it to have a really good look everywhere then started to walk back down we stopped at one of the deeper pools to have a swim. Sam and Steph took it in turns to jump in while I offered to take the pictures. The pool was cold but refreshing because it was so hot out of it, plus there were little fish nibbling you if you sat for too long in one place. We got out and walked down to the next pool along and had a swim in there whilst watching people jumping in from a rope swing. We drip dried for a little while before setting off back to the tuk tuk which was picking us up at 4.30pm. After the hour drive back we walked back through the market and went for something to eat. We had pizza for tea which was great because I could save half for James as he won't have had anything all day. Sam and Steph insisted on walking me all the way back to our guesthouse as it was dark, which was nice of them. We arranged to have a chilled day tomorrow and maybe meet up later in the day. When I got back in James had been asleep for the majority of the day, he was feeling a little better and managed to eat. I told him about our awesome day we'd had, it was such a shame he couldn't have shared it but all three of us did say that we would happily go back when James is feeling up to it before we leave.
