We have all had a good sleep, the rooms are really nice we went down and got some breakfast. After breakfast we booked our train tickets, we've got two upper beds and two lower beds so hopefully we'll be near each other. Our pick up from the hotel will be at 3.00pm. We went back up to our rooms to get packed, we checked out at midday. The wifi wasn't working at our hotel so we went to find a cafe where we could get some for a little while. We went back to the hotel to wait for our pick up which was a large tuk tuk, which fit more people than it probably should have done. We drove for about 45 minutes in the tuk tuk to the train station where we went to immigration to get our stamps out of Lao. The cheeky b*****s wanted quite a bit of money to actually get out of Lao! Once through we waited for the first train which was a 15 minute journey to a main train station where we would get a Thai visa and then get on the sleeper train. When we got there the train was already in the station so we got on and found our seats, they were two beds high and opposite each other, but for now the top bed was folded away and the bottom bed folded into two seats. Although they were a little close to the toilets for our liking. We ordered some food as we'd not eaten since breakfast and the train set off at 6.20pm. We had our food at 7.00pm and chatted until about 10pm when all of the seats were turned into beds. We chatted in our beds until around 11pm when we tried to get some sleep, it was difficult though as it was really bumpy and very loud!
