We slept really well last night because we are back in a room with air con, we got up late. This place has free coffee all day so we got up and sat drinking coffee for a little while until we went back to the room to chill. I sent a message to Sam and Steph to ask them where they had got to stay and if they fancied meeting up for a drink later on. We went out to explore the place and came across a place we had read about called Utopia, a little different from the version back at home! It had a platform made from bamboo which went out over the Mekong river and places to sit and lie down. We stayed here for a good few hours which was so relaxing. It had wifi too so I checked messages and Steph had replied, letting us know where they were so we could meet up. It took us quite a while to actually find the place, we probably walked past a few times before Sam saw us and shouted to us. We had a drink in the place where they were having a drink and using the wifi. After that we walked through the night market to a street which only had buffet places all the way down so we got a £1 tea again today. We then walked back to the place called Utopia to get a drink, it was really busy and felt like a pub back at home. We got there quite late, but thought we'd have enough time for one drink, but at 11.20pm we got told on three separate occasions that they were closing. Then we had the candle removed from the table and James was given a plastic cup for the rest of his beer he had left, when they say closing they mean closing! We walked out and said bye to Sam and Steph and organised to meet for breakfast. When we got back to our guesthouse the place was properly closed, door locked and lights off, we had to knock three times. Someone came to let us in, we apologised and went to bed.
