James is feeling a little unwell at the moment so we took it slowly this morning. We seem to be taking it in turns with being unwell!
We had our breakfast at the hotel then went back to our room to do some reading and planning for Thailand. We then went out near the swimming pool for a while to make use of the wifi, it's pretty poor though so only really get snippets each day.
It got to about 1.45pm when we decided to get the free shuttle bus from the hotel to Panjim the capital of Goa, the bus was setting off at 2.30pm. It was great seeing a different side to Goa, shopkeepers were not pushy, there weren't many calls of 'taxi' which near the beaches you get every 5 steps just about! There were lots of temples to look at and we found ourselves on a massive walk around. We bumped into a guy from New York called Matthew who was travelling India too, he walked and talked with us for a little while. I bought a bag while we were there too, I didn't bring a handbag with us and on a couple of nights one would be useful for wallet, phones, anti bac gel etc so got one for around £1.50. We got picked up again on the shuttle bus and came back. We went for tea at the hotel as by the time we got back it was later on and it is always worth a try. The food was lovely.
