We really are taking this not being well in turns, I now have a cold! A month in India and I've got a normal cold! Oh well, much rather this to stomach ache. So today we had a good walk out of Povorim to a shop which James had read about. It was a shop which sold pretty much everything and had a cafe attached, next door there is supposed to be a furniture shop. It was 1km walk but that was fine, as usual we got taxi shouted at us quite a lot but they don't seem to to understand why we would want to walk anywhere! Once we got there we realised this place had been closed down for quite some time, our guide book was a few years old. The furniture shop was there though, so we had a look around. It was huge and had old restored furniture all of which was at least 100 years old. Some of the items were really nice, others really not our cup of tea but all of them would have been a hell of a lot more expensive at home. We walked a little way back and then opted for a tuk tuk for the test of the way for about 50p. The tuk tuk had seen better days we thought it was going to break down at one point. After getting back James went for a swim and I read. We arranged a private taxi for the day for tomorrow, we're going to go to Old Goa, the spice plantation and then on to Palolem where we will be staying next. We had tea at the hotel tonight
