Brewed in the UK
Another night of lashing rain and a very wet morning. Very grateful that we didn’t need to pack a wet tent or do much outside. We packed up the bus, topped up our water and headed north to the stunningly beautiful but still wet Lake District.
On the way we stopped at Dunham Massey, a National Trust house with big parkland complete with roaming deer. It was lovely strolling around the grounds, moseying in the servants quarters and having an obligatory cup of tea with cake at the cafe. Dunham Massey has a very interesting history and is well worth a visit.
Our new campsite is huge and therefore has facilities galore. Andy and the kids went and got soaked at the playground whilst I did the laundry. There’s even an on-site library!
