Did a day trip to Wyndham today, to visit the famous "Five Rivers" lookout. Kununurra has been pretty hard to take. Camped on lush grass about five metres from the edge of a beautiful lake, blue skies, warm sun, cool breeze, Jacanas walking around on the lily pads, Rainbow Bee-eaters doing fly-bys right overhead, eating fresh watermelon and bread. Today began about 5:30am local time, when Jesse and I went for a walk at sunrise, up the hill behind Lake Argyle Tourist Village. From the top we got some great views of the lake, the dam and the river in the early morning light.
