Enjoyed a ‘slow’ day today, in that we didn’t travel anywhere, and just did easy walks around this spectacular place. I walked into the gorge before breakfast with Jesse, then after breakfast with everyone, then after lunch with Jesse and Max (we made sandcastles and played in the river), and then through the savannah just on dusk with Debbie. First up today we walked the track into Bell Gorge, which, unlike other gorges we’ve visited, brings you out at the top of the waterfall, with an extension from there to the bottom. We got a good view of the falls from the top, and had a swim in the river ... even the boys went in up to their necks. This photo is of the river above the falls.
