Kununurra has been pretty hard to take. Camped on lush grass about five metres from the edge of a beautiful lake, blue skies, warm sun, cool breeze, Jacanas walking around on the lily pads, Rainbow Bee-eaters doing fly-bys right overhead, eating fresh watermelon and bread. Aaaaahhhhhh.

Our inflatable boat has been in near-constant use. Jeese said “I love this boat now”, ’cause he gets to row it. The lake is beautiful day and night, dawn and dusk. I love best in the boat, alone, before dawn. I shot so many frames I flattened the camera battery.

Sublime. Divine. A perfect Sabbath.
