So today started with a trip out to Loch Ness to see if we could get a glimpse of the famous Loch Ness Monster, Nessy....unfortunately there were no sightings :( but what a beautiful place to visit anyway, even if there were a hell of alot of touristy shops and Nessy statues to take photos with!

We then headed to the battlefields of Culloden where the English and the Scot's fought it out in a gruesome war in 1746. After that we toured the first sight of the standing stones (Stonehendge came after) which were over 3500 years old.

We then ended the day with a beautiful walk through a forest which was a nice way to finish the tour. Now back in Edinburgh we have one more day to explore this old city before heading to a warmer climate where hopefully it's not raining!!
