Today was all about the Isle of Skye. The island itself was beautiful, with it's many mountains, rolling green hills, small villages and lots of sheep (the kiwis out there would love it ;P).
The definite highlight of the day was our (attempted) hike up the mountains. It was a narrow steep path that became much more difficult with the rain and fog. As soon as it became apparent that not everyone could continue then we were forced to turn back, and no it was not Bec or I that wanted to go back, we were definitely the power walkers of the crew! :)
We were also able to experience a scottish beach which was s***e, cold, damp, and covered in rocks - not an Aussie beach by all means!!
It ended well with Bec and I cooking for the crew (16ppl) dinner, luckily no one got sick!
