Today started with a mission to find a post office as Bec as always over packed! After exploring some of the 'new city' we managed to post the items back home....On returning to the 'old city' a picture opportunity arose, where we soon discovered that Bec had somehow managed to pack the camera away with the gear we were sending home. Bec then, stressed out of her brain bolted back to the post office where we luckily retrieved it!

After that happy ending we then started our walking tour of the 'old city' where we heard all about the hardship and history of this interesting old place....We were told about everything from the public executions, the witch hunts, garde loo (tipping s*** out your flat window to get rid of it), to the history of Edinburgh castle and the Scottish Independence up until today. All in all it was a fantastic 4.5hrs well spent!

Edinburgh is one incredible city which you can just picture to this day what it would of been like all those thousands of years ago - it's just amazing!
