It was time to say goodbye to beautiful Santorini and hello to Ios.

We arrived into Ios just after lunch and hit the beach for something to eat and some swimming as it was so damn hot! As soon as we arrived we noticed how quiet it was and over dinner that night we were told it was the end of season and that it had quietened down a fair bit in the last three weeks. As it was pretty quiet we looked into doing some water sports but they were all a little pricey except for the stand up paddle boarding which we really wanted to do but they were all booked out for a competition

The next two days were pretty much like groundhog day, breakfast was bacon and eggs, then we went to the beach during the day, started drinking in the afternoon at the Far Out side and head out to the loose party town at night. The clubbing doesn't start till 1am at the earliest so we ventured on out two of the three nights for a few drinks and some dancing which was pretty fun. We can see how people go crazy here though, that's for sure with the cheap alcohol and crazy clubs but it's definitely aimed at the loose Aussie singletons!
