Epilogue

Our flight home was uneventful and thankfully not delayed so we landed bang on time in a cool but bright London. Chris's Dad picked us up from Heathrow and drove us back home where we set about emptying our bags and sorting stuff out. Mum had to start the laundry which I don't think she really wanted to do and I had to empty my bags and sort out all my gear. We had to try and stay awake until the evening and try and get our bodies back into UK time even though we all really wanted to have a little snooze. We did manage to stay up until about 10 O' clock but then we all crashed out and slept for an astonishing 16 hours.

We have all really enjoyed our month long road trip. We covered just under three thousand miles, visited some amazing places and met some fantastic people. We have had some crazy coincidences and a family reunion six thousand miles from home. Did we have a good time? You bet, would we do it again? Absolutely and would I recommend it? What do you think.....
