24th birthday in Penang - in the morning emily treaed me to a fried breakfast, which went down a treat as it has been months since i last had one, that was my present. later on during the day we went for a walk in the national park which was nice and relaxing, saw few crocodile sized moniter lizards being tormented by monkeys...

in the evening, we found a english style pub which served pints, which again went down very well, as we have only really been drinking cheap bottled beer. one pint led to two, then three, then before we knew it, we had started a bar crawl, which had a few local expats tagging along, but it was good because they got the beers in. all was going well, me and emily were still standing, until one of the people we had met, captin (he owned a large ship) and his friend bought me a flaming blue lamborghini, which is five shots of different kinds of strong spirits, then set alight, and i was told to drink it through a straw before it all burnt away, seemed good at the time, until fresh air hit me. we continued from bar to bar, until we had enough and decided to go home...

on the way home, emily managed to stand on a nail, which went very far in her foot, we managed to un hook her and start to hobble home, where a policeman saw the blood and insisted that she went to hospital for a tetnus shot, he drove with lights and sirens goin, wrong side of the road, which made me feel worse and i repaid the helpful copper back by throwing up in his car... not a bad birthday... oh... the hangover lasted all of the following day and most of the night...
