kuala lumpur -when we arrived in kl i was amazed by the sky scrapers, as i have never seen buildings so tall, i just stood in the middle of them all and looked up, like a scene out of a cheesy movie. we stayed in chinatown which as always the maddest part of the city. it had a brilliant market which sold all copied designer goods very cheap, which was good as our clothes are starting to look shabby after the 4 months in asia, so we indulged and bought new stuff for australia.

we went to see the petronas twin towers (the second tallest building in the world!) which when stood at the bottom made you feel a bit dizzy, we got a pass to up the towers to the 41st floor which has a skybridge you can cross and look out over kl, which was good as everthing seemed so little even the other tall buildings i was amazed with at first. after this we went to a super mall called times square, which was huge too, 12 levels with a rollercoasters inside, spent the rest of the day enjoying the air con and wondering round.
