Thursday 25th July- lovely meal at the Pump Room for our final night out in Bath last night.
Today we caught the bus from Bath to Gatwick - changing at Heathrow. Trip was very pleasant - meandered thru country lanes for about an hour passing cute villages. Then down the M3 to airport - to find the service we were to board had been cancelled - however another just about to leave- so we caught that- with a very grumpy driver. The distance from Heathrow to Gatwick is 38 miles- However the traffic was ghastly and it took 2 hours- then a shuttle to the Ibis as no taxis are allowed in airport.
Ibis is very basic but only here one night - have to get to airport by 9.
