Sunday 21st July- the hotel is conveniently near the colleges- so we walked down to where most of them are- apparently 38 in number!! Did not get to all - and we couldn’t go in to the grounds of any - just peered through the doorways. Saturday 20th July- taxi to Paddington Station - train to Goring- Streatly where Lyn wanted to go to Aldworth to check on tellies at St Mary’s church cemetry. Walked over the bridge to Streatley where we had a snack - gorgeous on the river. Lyn tried to get taxi - no luck however left message. We headed back to the station - and a call came thru.
