Monday 15th July- We checked out tube stops etc to get in to city - then realised we could walk it in about 20 minutes- so we set off for the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Passed the Palace Mews- then to the Palace. Found a great spot ( thousands of tourists) up on the Queen Victoria Memorial -and thoroughly enjoyed the music and colour of the Changing of the Guards. Sunday 14th July - we left Marrakech for London yesterday - unfortunately I had a awful tummy upset - took some medication - and the day was an ordeal. Poor Lyn was left to do all the organising - All I wanted to do was sleep. Checked in at Marrakech to go thru to London via Lisbon - flight delayed- so had to RUN ( and I could hardly walk!!!!) to catch the 3pm flight out of Lisbon.
