All day tour of the Barossa Valley today. Scenic drive through the winding Adelaide Hills, with stops at The Giant Rocking Horse in Gumeracha and the Whispering Wall at Barossa Reservoir in Williamstown. Then headed to Lyndoch where we enjoyed a guided tour of Chateau Yaldara and wine tasting for all of us. They offered de-alcoholised wines for the kids to try which helped the children embrace the experience much more. The 20 year old tawny port was to die for! Delicious antipasto lunch at Kies Family Winery, then on to Chateau Dorrien and Wolf Blass cellar doors. Many tastings and several purchases puntuated our visits! Arrived home weary but merry. A great day.

Cathy Smith Chateau Yaldara is an awesome place. Many years ago I purchased a coupleof bottle of 1965 (the year I was born) vintage port. Amazing! Like theidea of deaclcohised stuff for the kids.
