A sad farewell to Leksand this morning - our home for the last week and setting for some enjoyable memories from this trip - but with a lot of the 'Midsummer crowd' also having departed and the rain showing no signs of stopping it made it slightly easier to leave.

On to Stockholm and rush-hour traffic - why do we never learn to plan the timing better?!

Having negotiated the traffic and found our aire we realised that we were only a 2.5km waterside walk to Gamla Stan and decided to make the most of this and go for an evening explore (and another beautiful rainbow) before yet another very late-night dinner and even later bedtime - we really need to get back into more of a normal bedtime routine if we are ever going to get to school next year!
