Woke to beautiful blue skies but by the time we headed for the bus it looked like we were going to get very wet today. Luckily the rain held off and we just had a very cold and windy visit to the city. We headed straight for the three towers and enjoyed some amazing views from the very top of Monte Titano and a picnic on the mountain path before heading back down to wander through the winding streets and enjoy the state museums... loved the fact we weren't allowed to get our deposit back on our visitors pass until we actually looked around all the state museums!

I loved San Marino, can't really put my finger on exactly why but it just has a really nice feel.... and the spectacular setting does help I suppose.

On to Greece tomorrow, fingers crossed the weather gets better for our ferry crossing.
