Today was very much a rest day after a fun night. I woke up around 7am and stayed in bed until 11am - lovely! Rob was a little hungover (ok, A LOT hungover) so I went out to get brunch for us. On Sunday and Monday we explored around the temples, travelling by tuk tuk. Having seen Angkor War by sunset on Saturday we wanted to go and see it in daylight on Monday and it was amazing how the light changed the building. The owner of The Royal Hotel kindly gave us two scarves as gifts and we met two lovely people at the hotel who were taking the same bus as us who gave us some really helpful advice about Siem Reap. - They even wrote down places to stay, see and eat (how kind!).
