Today was very much a rest day after a fun night.
I woke up around 7am and stayed in bed until 11am - lovely!
Rob was a little hungover (ok, A LOT hungover) so I went out to get brunch for us. (Ice cream sundae for me and bread and crackers for Rob!).
I then went to my Khmer cookery class to learn to make 3 authentic Cambodian dishes.
I learned to make:
Fried spring rolls
Fish Amok
Banana dessert
The lesson wasn't quite what I expected, nor what the other three did either (We didn't go tithe market to select the ingredients and I doubt I could remake the dishes from scratch!) though it was fun to meet new people and play at cooking :0
Later Rob and I went out for dinner where I facetimed Jen and showed her a bit of Pub Street in Reap and then we did a last bit of shopping.
After packing (our spare bag is now full to the brim) I had a lovely chat with Jen on face time and then hit the sack in readiness for our 5:40 wake up and early bus to Bangkok tomorrow.
Goodby Cambodia, I hope to see you again one day.
Hello Bangkok - I hope it will be nice to meet ya!
