I saw Killer Whales in the wild today!!! We were at a nature reserve to see penguines (cute) elephant seals (massive!) and sea lions (smelly and noisey). While we were watching the sea lions on the beach, one of the rangers shouted that the resident family of Orcas were hunting and had just been spotted a few miles up the coast. I'm in Ushuaia now, the most southerly city in the world. My good Scottish blood and childhood camping holidays are proving handy. While everyone else is complaining of the cold and even giving up cozy tents in favour of hotels, Í've just upgraded to jammies instead of just a wee t-shirt. Hoping to go up to the Martins Glacier this afternoon and enjoy the scenery and nice fresh air.

Wandered up here last night trying to get tickets to see Carmen, but unfortunatly i'd left it a bit late. Would really like to come back and spend some more timein Buenos Aires, have had a fab time and not seen nearly as much as i'd have liked to. But did manage to fit int he most tourist sights like the Cassa Rosada, oh and a teeny bit of shopping.

Just arrived in Buenos Aries after a couple of long days driving. Stopped last night to camp by some thermal springs and was still relaxing in the ourdoor pools at 11pm. Will be spending 4 days here and looking forward to seeing all the sights,

We had two long driving days to get here but it really was worth it. The falls are absolutely amazing, much bigger than Niagra and the surrounding scenery is so lush. I was feeling particilarly brave this afternoon so i treated myself to a helicopter flight over the falls. You really can't apprechiate the scale from any photos, and walking around the falls getrs you close. but to follow the river down then just come over the top is breathtaking. Hoping...
