Hiya!!!

Louisa do not fret I shall have loads of details to give you for Oz, you will love it, this place is uber cool and soooooo chilled out!!! Tash I'm afraid the zoo would not let me take Ellen emotional attachm,ent or something like that, I did try though!!! I know how you like to adopt animals, the tiger cub I feel i should have more luck in Thailand!!! tee hee

Ok so we made it to 1770, this is probably the most chilled out place I have been so far. The hostel is great and we have quilted and scented toilet rolls!!! (a luxury I'm sure you all take for granted!! although I hear the credit crunch is making things hard maybe you all too are on the tracing paper stuff!!!) Anyhoo we arrived in the evening and the shop was shuuting shortly after we got there so I ran down to get some stuff and I cooked a massive stir fry for everyone, then we drank what Goon was left over from Fraser Island.

I woke up early and dragged Paul to the beach with me, it's a really quite little town, everyone knows everyone it's really cute. The afternoon we did Scooteroo, this involves riding motorbikes around 1770, checking out some Roo's on the way past and heading to the beach on 1770 to watch the sunset, we were supposed to get some wedges but the pub was shut due to a staff party (how dare they!!!) and then working our way back into town. So I had a normal bike Paul was on a chopper with all the other boys, they all raced up the front and I just chilled at the back taking my time. A girl infront of me was really nervous so I promised to stay near her and tried to let her know she'd be fine, she was not fine, at a corner she started drifting out across the wrong side of the road and just went down a ditch right infront of me, I couldn't believe it!!! I pulled up and ran over, she was fine just really shaken up. The guys at the back sped up to get hold of Rod (yes Hot Rod!! tee hee) and they let him know a gorl had come off, apprently Paul was like OMG is she English, is cshe called Michelle was she wearing a white vest, I knew he would think it was me!!! no faith!!! Anyway later on I saw a big crowd in front of me and another girl ahad come off, we were all wearing sunglasses and our helmets as she came off her glasses brooke and cutt all around her eye, she had blood all down her face, Rod said she had been the day before and just got cocky!! Either way we all totally enjoyed this although it kinda made everone want a motorbike. I enjopyed sticking to the back but Paul said he wished I'd been up the front so that everytime someone crashed he didn't have to panick that it was me!!! Again we had a big m,ela Andy cooked a Thai Green Curry tres nice although a little spicey for me and we went and got some beers in.

Again I woke up early and got Paul up too. today I had a surf lesson, Paul couldn't take part, during shoulder wars in Fraser he fell onto someones knee and bruised his ribs so he didn't think he would be able to do the surfing without being in a lot of pain. Me and Lewis filled in our forms and headed for the beach, we had to wear really smelly rash vests ERGH and then we had our lesson where he explained why we get the waves, about the fetch, the face of the waves the 3 thirds of the waves and how to utilise them all, safety while surfing, etc, etc. Then we got in the water, I stood up on my first attempt, sooooo much fun!!! so tiring though, surfers are soooo fit (although looking at my instructor I think he must have stopped doing it many years ago!!!) So I rode afew waves and have decided surfing is def going to be a new hobby of mine. Paul I think was really annoyed he couldn't do it, this is the last place you can go surfing there are to many stingers the further north you go. Again we all cooked a massive meal we had Chilli and Adam left out the Kidney beans for me knowing I hate beans. then we all got some Goon, we didn't stay up to long though, I was really annoyed by afew people, they were so rude everytime I went to say anything they just ignored me or just spoke over me so I got the right arse and have refused to aknowledge them since. However the party downstairs ontinued wthout me and Paul and it was messy I hear. Glasses were broken, they had been going into dorms taking pics of people sleeping and stuff and the neighbours complained and the Police were called, they said they were going to throw out the people involved but they have all been allowed to stay. Nightmare!!!

This morning it's really muggy so me and Paul have done nothing, everyone else went to the beach. We had fish and chips for lunch and we are just waiting around as we are getting the night bus up to Airlie Beach, this is where we go from to do the Whitsundays, sooooo looking forward to doing that.

I promise to put up some more photo's as soon as i find a computer that uplaods photo's faster than 1 photo per 10 mins!!! as we now have loads to put up!!!
