Hi everyone, and a belated Happy New Year!! Hope you all had a good one and wishing you all the best for 2005. Well since staying in Bondi (our last update), we moved to Manly, a seaside town on the North shores of Sydney. We had the pleasure of staying in our first mixed dorm. The fellow inmates were a bunch of young 20 somethings from Sweden. They were pretty cool, liked surfing and playing the guitar. Deb went diving in Manly (not with sharks, so don't worry Laney Bird!) off of Shelly beach and met Boris ............... a big blue gropper. Whilst in Manly we decided to reorganise our trip which now means we will be seeing considerably more of Aus, including Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, the out back (please no snakes/spiders!) including Ayres Rock, then back down the east coast from Cairns to Sydney, when hopefully mumsy will be paying a visit! New Years eve............well just look at the pics, it was a long one, started at 3pm finished at 7.30am the next morning. After New Year we returned to the city to put our travelling plans into action, but after our mixed dorm experience and as we have given up smoking for New Year, we treated ourselves to a hotel. Tomorrow we are leaving for Canberra, and it is the beginning of a months tour of this bloody huge country, so we will try to keep you posted along the way, although we don't know how accessible internet will be in the outback, so don't worry, we will resurface at some point!
