Arrived in Bondi on 23rd December. Spent the day wandering around and lazing on the Beach. Christmas in Oz....... Spent xmas eve on Bondi Beach soaking up some rays. Went shopping (for each others xmas presents) and then started on the bubbly ready for a night out on the town. Ended up in our not so local pub, Scruffy Murphys for some Karoke althought after 2 bottles of wine we managed to stay in our seats and not join them on stage as they didn't want the pub emptied! After the Karoke they had a band which was really good. Managed to stagger out of the pub quite early as wanted to have quite a clear head for xmas day! On Christmas Day the weather was rubbish! Very cloudy and windy........ Went to the Bondi Pavilion for a Summer Beats Dance Festival. Ended up sitting inside for a while as it was quite cold and met up with some people from the night before. We ventured outside when Judge Jules came on and danced for a bit to keep walm! Christmas lunch consisted of a hot dog and dinner was even better with a Burger King! Mummies - where were you with roast turkey and stuffing?? On Boxing Day the weather was fantasic and we went down to Bondi Beach and soaked up some sun and watched the Sydney to Hobart Boat race go by. We then decided to do the famous Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk which took an hour and a half. It was very pleasant and the views and scenery were fantastic, but it was also very hilly and we were knackered!
