Day 5...August 15, 77miles (123 km) in very hot conditions.

Started early, beautiful along the canal, a bit foggy. Stopped in Hoodsport for coffee, nice place. Good roads, lots of logging trucks but no problem. Stopped for water at a Casino - Kamilche trading post. Then on a seemingly never ending road to Montesano. Really tired with heat and distance so we are in the only Motel in town, but it has wifi and phones. We are making up for lost days. My first flat, on back tire. With Fran's help got iit changed, a tiny staple.
