Today we arrived in Ao Nang, by ferry which was good very hot ferry! It only cost 350 Bart (£6.50pp) from kho phi phi to here and that included transport by a bus when we arrived.

The bus was a wooden bus, looked more like a lorry with a wooden frame on the back with two ladders to the roof. Thank god we got no one had to go up top! But the bags were a bit dodge on the back but nothing fell off. Also just be aware that if they try to say that the bus just drops you in town they don't they take you to the entrance of your hotel so don't get a taxi!!!

We only stayed here for two nights so on the day we arrived we booked on to a tour to go kayaking. We booked with our hostel which I surgest to have a look round as he over charged us a little. It was 450 Bart (£9pp) but this was for a half a day with no lunch. We spent about 3 hrs on the water which was good as we saw caves, monkeys, Paddled through mangrove and through cobra waters where you may see a snake. I saw one swimming in the water in the mangrove, scary. But we had such a good time a saw some great sights. I would advise a waterproof camera or water proof case for iPhone to take pics other wise you miss a lot of sights as you camera is in the dry bag.

Would advise that you do this as it is really good and a great was to see nature at its best!!
