Today was our real first day here in chengdu. We decided to go for a city tour a long the river to the bamboo park.
The bamboo park was really nice cost 20 yuan to get in which from the outside looks a bit of a rip off but when you get in you are welcomed by an archway of bamboo trees. There is also some really nice chines buildings which you can go up to the second floor and see the views. There are also some bamboo museums showing you different ways that bamboo is used. It's quit a tranquil place with lots of windy paths to go down.
On the walk down to the bamboo park you will find a bridge called An Shun Bridge which is stunning in the day but at night it is just amazing and you can capture some great pics of the bridge it's self but also the city which is lit up really well!
