Today we booked onto the flip flop hostel tour to the panda research centre, for 118 yuen. All I can say is it was amazing we had a little wait at the hostel for the van to arrive and again when we go there for the rest of our tour group to arrive. As soon as we walked in we went straight to the younger cubs where they were about to be let out into there out door enclosure and what a pleasure it was as the park hadn't opened yet and so we had such a great view ...

Today was our real first day here in chengdu. We decided to go for a city tour a long the river to the bamboo park. The bamboo park was really nice cost 20 yuan to get in which from the outside looks a bit of a rip off but when you get in you are welcomed by an archway of bamboo trees.
