We arrived in Surfers on wednesday and got picked up from the transit centre in a battered old limo! Got back to the hostel and found rooms, i ended up with a bed you literally have to climb into as they have tried to fit too many people in a room, but the hostel is nice, set out into little apartments, with your own kitchen and living room and bathroom. We joined up on a pub crawl, and got given ties and glow sticks and lots of free goon (we all love the goon). got picked up by the party bus at half eight, 100 people on a bus! and went to four clubs, with a free drink in each. the night was really good, and surfers paradise is so nice! its quite a big city, and is a lot like miami (apparently!) made it home by 1am with Tiffanie. The next day four of us headed out to dremaworld, one of the many theme parks here. it was really great, lots of rides, and a section with tigers, and the guys walkig round with them. missed them going for a wlk through the park though. we went and fed some kangaroos and i paid to have a cuddle with a little 2 and half year old koala called baxter! took lots of silly photos and went on all the best rides, like those big cars that you pretend that your driving at 5 miles per hour! went on a rollercoaster where you are strapped onto like a motor bike which was awesome! got back just in time for pizza night. $6 for all you can eat dominos and a movie on the big screen ,all sitting with our feet in the pool. good night to chill out! this morning i have been to the beach with tiffanie and into the town, and got my nose pierced! heading off to Brisbane tonight!
