Had a great time with charli, due to torential rain we ended up in a brewery getting a private tour then tastings. we rented sex and the city movie baked a make (muffins but with no cupcake cases so in a cake tin-muffin cake) and ate rocky road dairy milk! we ventured out into Timaru at night and the speights pub with her housemates and lover. Drove up to Christchurch and explored the clothes shops and cathedral. climbed the 134 steps into the tower to look out over Chch. Went for dinner in a rugby bar where we got served pig with a bit of pizza, then after a power nap (for 2 hours) we hit the town. Ended up in a strange bar and the remnants of an 18th party, then onto a few other places including a bar with a mechanical bull (i stayed on for 27 seconds!). The next morning Charli left :-( but my mancurian friends came to meet me, and we celebrated Laura's birthday with cake, balloons, party hats and drinking games. Had a great night, which ended in a nice KFC with potato and gravy! Bus to Kaikoura today a seaside township. Heading back up to Auckland now with a bus every day! my New Zealand adventures are nearly over :-( and i don't think i have seen anywhere near enough sheep yet!
