So i arrived back in Sydney on Saturday and went to the Harbour bridge. I walked over it and went up in the pylon to have a look over the city. Went to global gossip to ring mark and Kelley for her birthday and spoke to my ma and pa as well. went to try and find jesus and claire on oxford street but got very lost and scared by some of the pvc outfits that the men were wearing as i got furthur up the street, past a shop called 'the daily male' and a chinese called 'wok on' (the names made me laugh!). Went back to the hostel and met two swedish girls, whose names i can't spell. had an early night but got up on sunday to catch the ferry to taronga zoo. the views from the ferry back onto the city and the harbour were fantastic. The zoo was really big, and i saw my first koalas and kangaroos. spent five hours there and only just saw everything i wanted to. went to some of the keeper takls and to se the feeding and went to the seal show. came back with a headache as it was much hotter than i had anticipated! nice to see some sun though! Came back to the hostel and had a nap, then we had a bbq, as the family were reunited. Bbq was great and we had so much food and then bananas and chocolate! on monday i helped Vanessa and Mary move into their new place and finally bought myself a mobiley! in the afternoon i went to Monavale beach on the North shore with the two swdish girls and their australian friend and had great fun bodysurfing in the waves and swimming in the pool. managed to lose my shoes that i had only bought the day before so came home on the train barefoot with messy wet hair but giggling all the way. felt like children playing in the sea! in the evening we went out to paddy mcguires the Irish bar then had girls night at side bar but i came home quite early as i had an early morning today. Been to the bluemountains today on a tour, and met some great people. spent the day with tasha, Suzie and Rochelle, and was so good. the tour guide was called cactus and he told sch good stories, maybe slightly exaggerated as im quite sure they didnt have credit cards sixty thousand years ago, but he had such energy! we formed a tribe and made paint as the abopriginals did and painted our faces. saw the famous three sisters and learnt the story, and wentworth falls as well as many other waterfalls. Went walknig in the bush and the rainforest and went on the worlds steepest railway which was pretty awesome! got on really well with the girls and they came back to the hostel with me for a pancake party. two of them caught a bus to brisbane at 10pm, and are doing the same route as me, so might be meeting up with them later on. only one more day left in sydney, leaving for coffs harbour on thursday at 6.30am! so early!
