Day 11. The last hurrah.
He said: today, we go home. But first, we have some last few things on our checklist.
We had to repack our luggage, to try to balance out our weights, so that we didn't go over the limits. That took a couple minutes. Check.
Then, we went downstairs for the buffet breakfast. We had 15 minutes before our guide show…
Day 4. He said: today's the day we arrived in our destination resort by Villa La Angostura.

So, are we having New Year's Eve venison??
As I'll get into in my post from yesterday, we haven't had any here yet. We were going to do our fancy dinner last night, but the places we wanted to get to (that had lamb and venison) weren't open, unfortunately. So we "settled" for a place that served amazing steaks, and it was a good choice.

:) Glad to entertain. We met up with a former colleague of mine yesterday (he lives just a coupe hours away from where we're staying) and he said he was surprised we weren't directed to a back alley massage parlour. It was pretty funny.
We are having an amazing time. Weather the last three days has been AMAZING! Love from us!

Love both Lanb and Venison. Hoping tomorrow is fruitful for me, and I'm able to put venison in the freezer. Keep bloging, we're enjoying your adventure

It's lovely. We arrived to be presented with a bottle of champagne (yum!), and when we went for dinner that night we were greeted by a man who is VERY excited about making sure that we honeymooners have a fantastic experience! Volcanic ash is a challenge in these parts still, but we had a big rain yesterday, so today has been clear and beautiful and the view across the lake is absolutely GORGEOUS! Today we saw more wildlife than we'd seen yet, including a hawk that just decided to hang out on our balcony for awhile. It was pretty awesome. :)
Oh, and we stopped at THE chocolate shop today. There are lots of them here (it's a big product of this area), but this is apparently the BEST!

Looks like you guys are having a great time.. thank for the update... As you can imagine... Aunt Sue loves the penguin pictures... and we got a good laugh from your 'do not disturb'..
